Ottawa East Community

	Information about the Ottawa East Community Association, the Community Activities Group, the Mainstreeter and the Sandy Hill Community Health Centre is provided by those groups. The Alta Vista Corridor info is sponsored by Citizens for Healthy Communities and the Queensway Widening Study info is sponsored by the Coalition Against Queensway Widening.
	The Ottawa East Community Association (OECA), the Ottawa East Community Activities Group (CAG) and the Mainstreeter operate from the Old Town Hall at 61 Main Street. SLOE and Main Street Revitalization are committees of the OECA.
	The Sandy Hill Community Health Centre is the community health centre for Ottawa East and they have satellite facilities in the old École de Mazenod school at 88 Main Street.
	Alta Vista Transportation Corridor Environmental Assessment Also known as the Alta Vista Parkway or Expressway or Highway as well as just the Alta Vista Corridor. Back in 1965 this corridor was part of the planned "South East Freeway" which Ottawans wisely rejected in 1971.
	Queensway Expansion Study Also known as the Highway 417 Design Study and Environmental Assessment from Highway 416 to Anderson Rd.
